Location: Home and office based (Bromborough) with some travel required.

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 with option for OTE

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (some evening and weekend work may be required on occasions)

hi-impact is looking for a Business Development Executive to join the business development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for client relations, sales generation and the onboarding of new clients for hi-impact’s latest offering The HOST. The candidate will proactively drive sales, maximising and devising revenue opportunities and developing relationships with clients in order to retain and grow the offering. The role is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced business with a renowned reputation within the education sector. Experience and knowledge of the primary curriculum is essential.

The Role

Reporting to Head of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will work closely alongside hi-impact’s marketing team to achieve the business’ growth objectives. The role requires someone who is confident, approachable and has an understanding of the teaching profession. The successful candidate will be required to generate their own sales to meet KPIs and business targets.

 

Role Expectations
  • Maintaining and growing strong relations with current and prospective clients
  • Strategically sourcing a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Keeping up to date and confident with all current and future product development
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in order to successfully demonstrate the product to prospective clients (in person or online)
  • Maintain client records on company wide CRM system
  • Understand the product in order to develop a targeted approach during the sales process
  • Answering client questions about product features
  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Contribute to existing sales strategies and assist in the development of new ones
  • Meeting or exceeding KPI and business monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing campaigns
  • Clear understanding of the business’ other educational offerings
  • Meet new and existing clients to evaluate needs or promote other products and services
  • Maintain company image and values avoiding aggressive sales tactics
  • Supporting clients throughout the onboarding process
  • Liaise with software supplier to onboard clients and resolve any user difficulties or questions
  • Proactive, efficient and self-motivated
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines

 

Essential Skills Required
  • Experience within the education sector
  • Own transport is essential
  • Flexibility in order to travel when required

 

Other Responsibilities
  • Work in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all other relevant United Kingdom and European Community Directives and Statutory Regulations
  • Positively promote and work in line with GDPR company requirements
